The National Women’s Soccer League has announced it has awarded expansion rights for team #14 to an investment group representing the Bay Area, California with Sixth Street as the club’s majority investor. Latham & Watkins LLP represented Sixth Street in the transaction with an entertainment, sports and media team led by New York partner Frank Saviano and Century City partner Kendall Johnson, with Century City associates Omeed Anvar, Kaitlin Ray, and Will Walker.
