Appeals Court Upends Finding for Coach in Breach of Contract Case

A Texas state appeals court has reversed a trial court, which had found for a football coach who sued for breach of contract after he was suspended in connection with a hazing incident.   In reversing, the appellate court rejected plaintiff Damon Gracia’s assertion that the defendants waived their sovereign immunity under Tex.
