Attorney Takes the Lead in Advocating for Safer Air Races

By Holt Hackney   In the wake of the tragedy at the National Championship Air Races in Reno, Nevada, last fall, Slack & Davis attorney Michael L. Slack of Austin, TX is doing all he can to reduce the chances of a similar occurrence at future air races. Slack and his firm represent a number of injured spectators, and he recently attended the NTSB hearings that dealt with air race and air show safety issues.   On September 16, 2011, during a race among “unlimited class” aircraft, a
