Appeals Court Affirms Ruling for Season-Ticket Holder in Dispute Involving Permanent Seat Licenses

An Illinois state appeals court has affirmed a lower court’s grant of summary judgment to a couple who were long-time Chicago Bears season-ticket holders. The couple had been sued by a woman who would regularly buy their tickets and was upset when the couple decided to stop selling them to her.   Fueling the controversy was the fact that the plaintiff had purchased two permanent seat licenses (PSLs) to maintain the couple’s contract with the Bears during the course of the arrangement.
