The Murphy Decision Legalizing Sports Betting ‘Could Fundamentally Alter’ the Sports Industry — an Analysis

NCAA, 138 S.Ct. 1461 (2018). The decision, authored by Justice Alito, struck down the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act of 1992 (“PASPA”), 28 U.S.C. § 3702 (1), as unconstitutional and opened the way for legalized sports betting in every state.
