On May 17, 2017, former Penn State University linebacker and current undrafted NFL free-agent Nyeem Wartman-White filed a lawsuit against International Specialty Insurance, Inc. in federal court in Pennsylvania seeking a payout under a $1 million permanent total disability (PTD) insurance policy covering the period August 9, 2016 to August 1, 2017, or until Wartman-White received an offer from and/or signed a contract with an NFL team.
