Ninth Circuit Revives Prescription Drug Claims Case Against the NFL

The Multi District Litigation Panel sent the case to the U.S. District Court in Philadelphia. The NFL filed a motion to dismiss. In part, the motion was based on federal labor preemption since the vast majority of the players involved were covered by collective bargaining agreements (each, a “CBA” and collectively, "CBAs") that provided mandatory remedies
