Judge Finds Priority Sports Violated Agent’s Right to Privacy

By Darren Heitner, Esq.   A federal judge has granted summary judgment to basketball agent Aaron Mintz, who among other things claimed that his former employer, the sports agency Priority Sports, had violated his right to privacy when it accessed his Gmail account.   The Court also rejected numerous counterclaims leveled by Priority Sports.   With regard to the latter, Judge Wilson became noticeably irritated with some of Priority Sports’ arguments.
