Former Associate Athletics Director Sues University over Wrongful Termination

By Leah Brundidge   In April of 2015, Jermaine Holmes was removed from his position as Associate Athletics Director of Academics/Director of Academic Support Program for Student-Athletes at North Carolina State University (NC State). Holmes alleges that the termination was wrongful in nature due to the discrimination and harassment that he received from employees at the institution. Holmes was hired in this particular role in March of 2014 after a 15-year career within athletics at Virginia
