Coach Sues for Breach of Contract After Accident Leads to Termination

The former head football coach at the University of Louisiana at Monroe has sued his former employer for breach of contract, after he was allegedly forced out of the job because of his involvement in a traffic accident.   According to police reports, Mike Collins lost control of the 2003 Chevrolet truck he was driving shortly before 12:30 a.m. April 4, 2003, and crashed into a Monroe home.   Collins was booked on suspicion of drunken driving, though he refused to take a breath analysis
