Sharapova’s Attorneys Believe CAS Got It Right; Others Disagree
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has granted relief to tennis star Maria Sharapova, who had previously been suspended by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) for two years following a positive test for MilDr.onate, a banned substance.
Stating that “it does not agree with many of the conclusions of the ITF,” CAS reduced the suspension to 15 months, effective January 26, 2016.
