Judge Dismisses Claim of Employee Who Repeatedly Failed to Land Athletic Department Job

A federal judge from the Middle District of Pennsylvania has dismissed the claim of a Lock Haven University employee, who sought a job in the athletic department, but was repeatedly turned away, allegedly in violation of both Title VII of the Federal Civil Rights Act of 19641 and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act (PHRA).   In so ruling, the court noted that the lawsuit was flawed for a number reasons, such as the failure to obtain a right to sue letter from the EEOC, which is a pre-requi
