Sports Law Professor Pens $5,000 Grant About ‘Unlocking the therapeutic Potential of jiu-jitsu’

Dr. Rachel Silverman was recently awarded a $5000 Research Services Council (RSC) Grant from the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) for a new research study she is working on entitled “Grapple with your past: Unlocking the therapeutic Potential of jiu-jitsu” Dr. Silverman, who teaches sports law and other classes at UNK, is partnered on the project with co-researchers Keesha McQuay and Chelsea Supencheck.
