Bearby Assumes Role of Chief Legal Officer; Pottorff Promoted to Vice President and General Counsel

The NCAA and the office of legal affairs announced senior vice president Scott Bearby has assumed the role of chief legal officer and Greg Pottorff has been promoted to vice president and general counsel. Bearby had served as senior vice president of legal affairs and general counsel, overseeing the office of legal affairs, hearing operations and government affairs. As chief legal officer, Bearby will lead enterprise legal strategy for legal affairs, government relations and hearing operations.&
