By Drew Schott Since 2011, George McCaskey has served as the fourth Chairman of the Chicago Bears. Ahead of joining the Bears in 1991, he earned his Juris Doctor from the law school of Arizona State University (ASU) and served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in DeKalb County, Illinois and Lee County, Illinois. Attending law school was not McCaskey’s original plan after receiving his undergraduate degree, also from ASU. But today, he is “very grateful” for receiving a legal education.
