LaKeisha C. Marsh, chair of Akerman’s Government Strategies Practice Group and Higher Education and Collegiate Athletics Practice, has been elected to serve on the National Association of College and University Attorneys’ (NACUA) board of directors for a three-year term beginning June 2025. NACUA is a leading membership association in the field of higher education law, focused on advancing the effective practice of higher education attorneys and serving the needs of colleges and universities by providing resources and support for legal professionals. As a board member at large, Marsh, active in NACUA as a member for over 10 years, will help shape the association’s strategic goals, policies, and priorities, as well as oversee the legal and ethical integrity of NACUA.
